urfckd going national finally

as amanda and i were hanging out with tony kicks and lacy friday night, i realized that our blog might finally get the jumpstart it needs to start rolling in a positive direction.  blogs are generally too subjective and narrow, both geographically and in perspective.  the ones everyone reads tend to transcend these limitations.

now our contributors, or i guess by the end of the year, will stretch from seattle and portland to our ersatz base in missoula through the midwest in chicago and the twin cities all the way to D.C.  we will be able to call bullshit from more corners of our beloved spinning out of control nation.  there will be more things to love and hate.  more fucked things to aim our disdain at.  and more culture to soak in.

and since more of our life is being digitized and digested into web content, we can be a big part of it.  maybe someday the hipster kids will acknowledge what we've know all along, that recognizing that everything is fucked is the first step to changing and taking over the world.

(ps.  i'd be sad if this blog ever died, so i'm going to try and contribute at least twice a week from now on, please do the same.  it's healthy to vent.  and i want to know what everyone's up to.)

I agree wholeheartedly. As much as I've been dreading everyone moving away, in regards to the blog, I've been waiting for it since we started this little thing. I'm glad we share the same sentiment.
