i can't even believe i didn't notice this before, but on the mgmt demos ep that came out this summer there is a track entitled, love always remains, that will drown you in autotune. yes these indie darlings also believe in the vocoder with the likes of emo kitten kanye west and pop divas such as cher. so now i'm convinced you can't record an album without the assistance of the auto-tune. its against the RIAA rules i guess. or its a plot to make ben rouner stop listening to music. who knows? but it is distorting what counts for real singing these days.
