forget downloading the new iTunes.

The solution to that nagging dilemma of whether to update to the new improved and mostly irritating version of iTunes is at hand. It's Songbird. Brought to you by the friendly open source software people that created such lovely programs as VLC and Firefox, Songbird is the hip new way to listen to music and load yr iPod. Click here to jump over to TinyMixTapes glowing and snarky case for using Songbird- I would basically summarize it the same, so I'll be lazy and let you read more info on their site.

If you hate the Genius Bar on the new iTunes and want to be able to see pictures of Lil Wayne or Jay Reatard as you rock out, click here to download Songbird for free.

And just for one moment, say fuck you to Steve Jobs. And then keep using your Macbook like it ain't no thing.

ps.
songbird does have the fucking stupidest logo, but so far that's the only problem i have with it. and keep in mind, that they're updating it all the time so if there is a feature that it doesn't have yet, it will in a week....(ie. the cd burning feature should premiere very very soon, but who burns cds anymore?)

I have to say that I am retardedly loyal to Apple, probably more than I should be. The idea of using anything but iTunes seems unfathomable.

I do hate how you can't get rid of the Genre window when scrolling through artists. That reall, really irritates me. Apple, you never used to limit the way I use your programs. Why the change? I may consider this new program. After all I almost never use quicktime or safari.. we'll see.
