i was thinking about this article all today. i was going to post the link, but i'm glad someone did. it's an ingenious way to manipulate the statics to show us indie kids are smarter.
but then it does take some intelligence to be this snobby.
but does this explain why so many indie kids love the rap and dance music so much?
i guess it takes a certain level of smarts to grasp the rock bottom basics of irony/camp/kitch, but some of them are fairly serious about it.
