As I said over on my personal blog, I wasn't at all excited about this movie. I was never a big fan of the book when I was younger, but when I watched the trailer for the first time it nearly brought me to tears, mostly because of the acoustic version of "Wake Up", which is possibly one of my favorite songs. The second time I watched it I may have shed a couple tears. Emo? No. Emotionally wrecked? Pretty fucking much.
dave eggers is one of my fav writers and he co-adapted the book with spike jones for the film.......that's why i'm excited about it......
though by now i'm fucking sick of arcade fire. but that's just me, i do love them, but i won't purposefully listen to them again until i'm fifty........

Also, if you're a quality snob, like I am, I suggest you pop over to apple.com and watch the trailer:

Look who has a personal blog too. Emo loser!
Whoa, buddy: watch what you're saying about people with personal blogs...
I think there are more of us than you think there are.
Eric, you have a personal blog, too. Just because you don't post to it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
